Panayiotis was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2011, having joined the firm as a trainee in 2010.

He has wide expertise and has advised a diverse client base on a broad range of matters. He regularly advises clients on their day-to-day commercial issues, ranging from drafting and advising on commercial contracts to hiring practices and consumer protection. He is also involved in corporate transactional work and advises on general company law.

Panayiotis frequently offers compliance advice in a variety of industry sectors, ranging from insurance to retail, and helps a diverse client base with managing regulatory risk.

His experience encompasses personal data and privacy law, as well as information technology issues and e-commerce.

He has been recently advising clients on renewable energy projects, offering support at all relevant phases, including licensing, construction and operation.

Panayiotis has also been involved in a number of real estate transactions, which include one of the biggest real estate projects in Cyprus in recent years.

In addition, Panayiotis advises both local and international clients on competition law issues, including merger control filings and competition authority investigations.

Having acted for a diverse range of clients, Panayiotis appreciates the need and knows how to strike a balance between what the law says and how to make it practical for the client. Our clients particularly like his calm and reasoned style and his ability to cut through legal complexities in providing solutions.
