Costas was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 1982 and founded the firm in 1996.

Costas is an acknowledged expert on both contentious and non-contentious insurance law, regularly advising not only local and international insurers and reinsurers but also policyholders and beneficiaries.

His work also focuses on litigation and disputes, corporate and commercial law and personal injury. Costas has experience in arbitration, having also been appointed as arbitrator in a number of cases.

Costas is a skilled litigator and has, over his long career, dealt with high profile cases and sensitive and complex litigation, earning the reputation of a fierce cross-examiner.

Apart from his litigious work, Costas is also widely experienced in dealing with non-contentious commercial issues faced by a broad range of clients. Costas also advices on competition law issues. This combination of contentious and non-contentious expertise is highly valued by clients.

Costas has a very hands-on approach and is actively involved in his work, personally communicating with and guiding clients until completion of their matter.

Costas has served as the president of the Nicosia Bar Association from 2011 to 2017.
